2026 Constitution and Bylaws Revision
The Board is currently reviewing updates to our governing documents to better reflect our ministry, ensure legal clarity, and maintain alignment with Upper Room guidelines and our Covenant Agreement.
Summary of Proposed Changes
- Clarity & Legality: Structural edits to the Bylaws for better readability and legal compliance.
- Operational Focus: A proposal to redefine the current “Policy Manual” (The What) into an “Operations Manual” (The How) to streamline our processes without redefining our core mission.
- Modernization: Updating documentation to reflect how we serve the Emmaus Community in today’s world.

Please review the recommendations and the clean copies of the updated documents prior to the upcoming Board Meeting. Printed copies will be available for the community, and further updates will be shared on our Facebook Page and Community Group following our Saturday meeting.
